How nursing schools use TEAS scores
The ATI TEAS is an entrance exam used by many nursing programs to measure academic readiness in reading, math, science, and English language usage. Some schools use a hard minimum TEAS score requirement, while others use TEAS results as one part of a point system with GPA, prerequisites, experience, and essays.
A posted minimum score only tells you the lowest score a program may accept. A competitive TEAS score is often higher, especially for selective BSN programs or programs with limited seats.

- Separate minimum scores from competitive scores whenever the school provides both.
